About Us

Beit Hanina is a peaceful town with a rich history. It is just 3 miles away from the holy city of Jerusalem. About 100 years ago, people from this town i.e. Hanayna, were all living in the town, working mainly in the agriculture and other types of businesses. Suddenly, Hanyna started to think about going to the new world looking for jobs and businesses to earn more money. The main goal was just to go for few years and come back, sadly these few years didn’t come to an end yet.

Now in the first decade of 21^st century, Hanayna are spread all over the world, mainly in North America and South America. It is sad to know that Hanayna living in one town in the United States of America are more than who lives in Beit Hanina itself. Some Hanayna actually left and never came back, especially those in South America.

Our main goal of this site is to try to make it a reality bringing all Hanayna back together, making it possible for relatives to connect, chat and communicate in many different ways. Make it possible for Hanayna to discuss the major issues that are facing our beloved town.

If there is a wedding or death in Beit Hanina, lets post an event here so all Hanayna know about it. Many Hanyna don’t know about most of their first cousins, let’s join this network and get to know each other and share stories and memories about Beit Hanina.
