Haneene familes get orders to leave their house from the Israeli army

Assalamo Alaykom,

2 days ago, a group of Haneene familes who live close by the Israeli separation wall between the old and the new side of Beit Hanina got orders from the Israeli army to leave their house. The army is saying that their house is in a military only zone!!!!!!!!

This house is in the old side of town, but after building the new Israeli version of the Berlin wall, the houses are now in the new side of town. So it is not enough for these families to live next to the wall. Now they are asking them to leave their house that was build even before Israeli occupation!!!

Permalink Reply by Samia Taher Farraj on May 7, 2009 at 5:49am: This is absolutely terrible. For years, I felt Beit Hanina would be okay up until the wall was built and the town was divided. Now, nobody and nowhere is safe from Israeli oppression.
